STEEL BRIDGE SONGFEST 2012 FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

Pub Crawl with Saferide Program June 7th, 8th, & 9th, 9 p.m. – 2 a.m.

12 indoor and outdoor venues, 150+ musical acts, free trolley transportation from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.! Thursday, June 7, is Door County Appreciation Night: Entrance to all venues is absolutely FREE, beginning at 6:00pm and finishing off with an evening Pub Crawl until 2:00am. Performances continue on Friday and Saturday at 12 different venues throughout Sturgeon Bay’s historic downtown.

Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) June 8th & 9th, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Two evenings of music at Sturgeon Bay’s premier theater, featuring the Construction Zone* songwriters and the songs written at the Holiday Music Motel in the days preceding the festival weekend. Friday the 8th performances at TAP include a Young Songwriters Showcase Hosted by

2012 “Door County Idol” winner Lena MacDonald (16, of Sister Bay) and Tarl Knight (17, of Green Bay), featuring other young artists including Brittany Hallet, Caleb Navarro, Liam Hall, Angelo DeAugustine (BMI website’s April 2011 featured indie artist), Seth Raddatz, and Anya Kopischke. Later at TAP (8:30pm-10pm): Freedy Johnston and Victoria Vox will host Construction Zone Songwriters “In The Round” featuring the 2012 Construction Crew*.Saturday’s performance at TAP brings the “2012 Steel Bridge All-Star Revue” featuring the entire 2012 Construction Crew* (see full list below) and special guests, hosted by James Hall.

FREE 2-Day Outdoor Festival at The Holiday Music Motel Steel Bridge

2012 also presents “Take It To The Bridge!” outdoor festival Saturday & Sunday (June 9th & 10th), from 12:30pm-5:30pm at the Holiday Music Hotel <http://sbsf.hosted.phplist.com/lists/lt.php?id=MBlXAEoAUUxSUlZV>

on 2 outdoor stages (parking lot and rooftop). Join us for fun in the sun with spectacular original music, delicious food, and thirst quenching drinks.

Construction Zone 2012: Central to the Steel Bridge Songfest festivities is the “Construction Zone,” a week-long songwriting marathon (hosted by The Holiday Music Motel <http://sbsf.hosted.phplist.com/lists/lt.php?id=MBlXAEoAUUxSUlZV>

) that infuses the festival with a slew of new songs each year inspired by Sturgeon Bay’s Historic Steel Bridge. The songs are performed on stage and recorded on site, then made available for sale at local businesses and through the festival website (www.SteelBridgeSongfest.org ). This year will see the release of “Steel Bridge Songs: Vol. 7″, featuring songs by the 2011 Construction Crew!!!
