Greens N Grains Natural Food Store & Café hosts a presentation by Dr. Nicole James regarding the launch of the Center For Optimal Health’s new CANcer THRIVEr program, on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Come to listen and discuss, questions are welcome. Beginning at 6pm will be the biweekly Dinner & a Movie event, featuring the film, FED UP.
“FED UP blows the lid off everything we thought we knew about food and weight loss, revealing a 30-year campaign by the food industry, aided by the U.S. government, to mislead and confuse the American public, resulting in one of the largest health epidemics in history. From Katie Couric, Laurie David (Oscar winning producer of An Inconvenient Truth) and director Stephanie Soechtig, FED UP will change the way you eat forever.”
Dinner starts at 6pm and includes a specialty soup, salad, fresh baked roll, and a cup of tea for just $7.50. The screening will begin at 7pm, and participants are invited to join the filmmakers in their cause by taking the FED UP challenge (go sugar-free for 10 days!). Please call for more information and reservations, the film screening is free, but loft seating is limited. RSVP by calling 920.868.9999 or by email to info@greens-n-grains.com.
