While one doesn’t really need a good reason to eat cake, Cupcake Heaven in Sister Bay, Door County, Wisconsin has announced a few great reasons to visit them this June…
Cupcake Heaven’s charity partner in June is the Family Centers of Door County! The shop is donating a portion of all sales generated by their Shortcake Cupcakes (Strawberry, Raspberry or Lemon) during the month of June 2014. They are also a collection location for any gift items or monetary donations you wish to make to the Family Centers’ Children’s Christmas Stores (it is never too soon to start stocking those shelves!), and with your donation you can enter a drawing for a prize!
And, mark your calendars – beginning Saturday, June 7th, local singer/songwriter Marybeth Mattson, of the band Small Forest, will be playing live music at Cupcake Heaven from 1pm-3pm on *Saturdays in June and July. (*Marybeth will play Friday, May 27 instead of Saturday as June 28th she will be playing on the grounds at Wickman House for the new Uncork Summer Festival.)
Cupcake Heaven is also offering Birthday Parties in the shop throughout the season… Interactive, creative, and a little bit messy, this is a great way to ensure fun and dessert at the same time! Bring your smart phone or camera and share photos of the your kids’ uniquely decorated cupcakes with Cupcake Heaven on Facebook. Schedule ahead and bring your child and their friends (or family!) in to decorate their own cupcakes – ask for details! 920.365.6672.
