The Cookery is kicking off its’ music season with Lynn Gudmundsen and David Hatch on Saturday, May 4 at 5 p.m. David and Lynn will play a mix of acoustic classic rock and bluegrass, along with a tad of country and folk.
The music will be in The Cookery’s wine bar. The appetizer, small plate, and dessert menu as well as the beer and wine list will be available. The happy hour menu is also available 3 to 6 p.m., which includes specials on tap beer, glasses of wine and appetizers. There is no cover charge.
The Cookery is open daily starting April 26th serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. The restaurant and wine bar are located at 4135 Highway 42, Fish Creek.

The Cookery is offering three pasta features on Friday night before the half marathon. The first is a whole wheat linguine with wild shrimp sauteed with garlic, pimenton (spanish paprika) and red pepper flakes, finished with dry sherry and parmesan. A vegetarian version of this dish is also offered with a variety of fresh vegetables. The third option is a whole wheat linguine tossed with house made kale pesto and roasted tomatoes, grilled wild salmon or chicken can be added to this entree.
