It’s been a long time coming, and the website redesign for Door County Chefs is here. We’ve overhauled the look and feel of the website, and it can now be enjoyed across multiple devices — from your desktop computer to tablets to smartphones. Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be adding even more features and functionality.
Along with a responsive design, we’re working to be responsive to our visitors’ requests for even more types of content. Door County Chefs is proud to announce its new “Ask a Door County Chef” which will regularly include questions from visitors and followers on culinary subjects, with answers from some of Door County’s top chefs. Check out July’s question on a recipe for Door County cherries with a tasty response from Sarah Basch of the FlourGirl Patissier.
We’ve also added easily downloadable menus from our members and a searchable Door County restaurant map. When our new mobile app launches in upcoming weeks, navigation for your mobile device will be added, making the search for — and arrival at — your chosen DC restaurant seamless.
Speaking of our mobile app, it will launch later this month and work across Android and iPhone devices. Packed with cutting-edge goodies and location-based services, you’re sure to find it useful. For a glimpse of what it looks like and the features it offers, take a look at the new promotional video for the Door County app below.
Finally, we’d like to thank all of our loyal visitors over the years for helping us to grow and improve. We’d also like to thank all of the Door County restaurants and merchants who gave our new website and mobile app such a positive reception when speaking last week. We hope you enjoy the new website and stop back soon for updates on the mobile app launch.
