It’s here! This weekend is the Fish Creek Winter Festival – and there’s lots to do! The Festival’s events include a ‘Stumpf Fiddle’ Jam, Snowshoe Dance, and an Ugly Sweater contest, as well as outdoor-fun such as Snow Kickball, a parade, and Fireworks over the Frozen Bay! You’ll also be able to enjoy the offerings of local food vendors, but just in case you need to head inside and sit down for a meal or a drink amidst the festivities, below you’ll find some great places to eat in Fish Creek this weekend.

Arroyo Bay Grill:
Serving Mexican and American dishes as well as tasty pizza, Arroyo Bay Grill is located directly across from the Door Community Auditorium. Open Thursday through Sunday 7am-9pm with later bar times for Fish Creek Winter Festival weekend, so you can fuel up at breakfast before bundling up for outdoor games.

Bayside Tavern: Open Mic host Seth Raddatz w/ Tommy Burroughs
Bayside Tavern:
Warm up those hands with a Bayside Coffee and stay for lunch or dinner. The Bayside Coffee is a spectacle to behold – your bartender will pour and set fire to this special drink before topping it with whipped cream! The Bayside Tavern is open 11am-2am daily, and is conveniently located on Main Street. Thursdays are open mic nights starting at 10pm, hosted by local musician Seth Raddatz.
Cooper’s Corner:
Also on Main Street, the fabulous Cooper’s Corner offers “upscale casual dining.” Enjoy exceptional entrees and mouthwatering desserts to top off your day out at the festival. Open for lunch and dinner, Friday – Sunday, 11am-10pm, and stay for drinks, the bar is open until Midnight or later!
The English Inn:
The English Inn, open Thursday – Sunday from 4-8pm, is fine dining at its best; even the Children’s Menu includes Prime Rib and Deep Fried Shrimp (as well as grilled cheese and hamburgers for those pickier eaters). Bring the family and eat well at The English Inn, located just north of Fish Creek on Hwy 42.
Gibraltar Grill:
Open in the winter for the first time, head to the Gibraltar Grill on the north end of Fish Creek, serving dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 4-9pm. Enjoy a juicy, featured steak and a donation will be made to the Go Bo! Foundation now through April, 2014 as part of their Featured Steak Donation program.
